° We are able to treat virtually all tumors receptive to radiation
° State of the art CT guided 3-dimensional treatment planning allows us to customize a     treatment plan and deliver an optimal dose of radiation to the tumor site with minimal     exposure to healthy surrounding tissue

High Dose Brachytherapy (HDR) - (for more information on this subject, please click here)
° A procedure which places high doses of radiation directly at the tumor site through a needle of catheter
° Sites receptive to HDR include: GYN malignancies, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, some head and neck malignancies, and several other interoperative sites including some breast cancers. Please contact our office to speak with our doctors to find out if you can benefit from this procedure.

Microwave Hyperthermia - (for more information on this subject, please click here)
A heat treatment that works with the conventional radiation therapy to increase the sensitivity of the tumor cells to radiation, therefore increasing its effect. Hyperthermia has been proven effective in many oncologist disease sites including head and neck malignancies and many surface lesions.

We offer free transportation to and from our office for all patients.

Community screening and education services:

The Joint Center for Therapeutic Oncology offers free cancer screenings in the community throughout the year. Please contact our office for an updated calendar of events, or view our handy calendar.

Dr. David Moylan is available to speak to your group or organization on any oncologic topic, including treatment options, cancer prevention, latest innovations in the treatment of cancer, plus many others.
